Grand Canyon Celebration of Art

Now through September 15, residents have the chance to watch artists paint along the South Rim as they interpret amazing landforms and vibrant colors of the Grand Canyon. Those attending will enjoy artist demonstrations at various locations at the canyon throughout the week. The 11th annual Grand Canyon Celebration of Art is free and open to the public.

Sedona Wagfest & Fair

Sedona residents and their four-legged friends are invited to stop by the second annual WagFest & Fair on Saturday, September 21 from 9 a.m. to noon. The event features demonstrations, raffles, giveaways, and booths where you can shop from the area’s best dog service providers. WagFest & Fair is set to take place at 525 Posse Ground Rd.

Sedona Airport Family Fun Day

It’s easy to see what makes Sedona Airport Family Fun Day one of the most anticipated events of the year! Guests are able to see a number of unique aircraft in person, including vintage airplanes, warbirds, as well as some of the newest aircraft in the industry. This year, a World War II B-25 bomber will be on display and offering chances for once-in-a-lifetime rides over our city’s red rocks. The fun takes place Saturday, October 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sedona Airport.

Pumpkin Splash

Get in the fall spirit with the always popular Pumpkin Splash at Sedona Community Pool! Far from a traditional pumpkin patch, the Pumpkin Splash gives attendees the chance to pick their pumpkins out of the pool! The event takes place Saturday, October 19 from 1-3 p.m. and costs $5 per person.

Haunted History

Looking to enjoy some Halloween fun at the end of October? Take in an afternoon of chilly tales from Cowboy poet and author Michael Peach, including “Peoria’s Runaway Pumpkin,” “The Hauntings of the Red Ghost,” and “The Cactus Killer,” among others. “Haunted History” takes place from 3-4 p.m. at 735 Jordan Rd.
